Servings: 3

Time for preparing: 25 minutes

Preparation time: 3 hours 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

mackerel 1 pc.

water 500 ml

salt 45 g

black peppercorns 6 pcs.

Bay leaf 2 pcs.

PREPARATION: +

After gutting fresh mackerel (or any other fish), cut off the fins, remove the ridge and remove the bones.

Cut into pieces.

Add salt, bay leaf, pepper to the water, mix well and send the fish to the brine.

We put in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours (if the fish pieces are large, then it is worth keeping it in the brine for a little longer).

After this time, we take out the fish and put it in pots, drain the brine completely and send it to the refrigerator for 2 hours, so that the salt is completely distributed over the fish.

Serve to the table, pouring lightly with sunflower oil and adding onions.

Bon Appetit!
