Apple-Curd Charlotte

Delicious uncomplicated cake with a traditional combination of biscuit dough, apples and cottage cheese

  1. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, mix with sugar and butter. Wash the apples, remove the seed capsule and cut into thin plates, sprinkle with lemon juice so as not to darken
  2. Beat eggs with sugar until white, then add sifted flour with baking powder, mix with a spatula. The dough should be thick enough so that the curd does not fall to the bottom, so add flour if the mass is not thick enough
  3. Put the dough in a greased form, put a curd layer on top and cut apple slices on it. Brush the apples with melted butter and lightly sprinkle with sugar. Bake at T 150C for about an hour.
