Baked potatoes with fish in a tender sauce

Potatoes baked with fish are always delicious, and having prepared a dish in this way, you will be pleasantly surprised at how unusual and festive potatoes baked in the oven can be.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Grease an ovenproof dish with vegetable oil and put half of the chopped potatoes in it. Top with half the onion and half the bell pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with 1/4 tsp. oregano. Put the fish evenly on the vegetables, in one layer. Top with the rest of the potatoes, onions and peppers. Season with salt, pepper and sprinkle with the remaining oregano.
  3. Heat butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add flour. Fry, stirring continuously, until the first bulbs. Add milk gradually. Cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly thickened. Pour the resulting mass into a mold with potatoes, cover with foil or a lid and put in the oven. Bake for about 40 minutes, until the potatoes are soft. Then remove the foil (lid), sprinkle the baked potatoes with cheese and put the baked potatoes with cheese in the oven for another 5-7 minutes.
