Today I'm making a sugar cake. I have been interested in this cake recipe for a long time, and finally I baked it. The cake exceeded all my expectations. It not only looks bright and is easy to prepare, but also delicate, moderately sweet in taste, cakes - well soaked in curd cream with condensed milk, sour cream and butter. Looks great in cut.

  3. Add tomato paste and mix with a mixer until smooth.
  4. Add the baking powder and gradually introduce the flour, kneading the dough.
  5. Knead the dough first with a mixer, and then knead with your hands.
  6. We send the dough to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  7. After the time has elapsed, turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees.
  8. We divide the dough into 5 parts.
  9. Roll out each part of the dough on parchment paper. If your dough rolls out badly and crumbles, add 1-2 tbsp. spoons of milk.
  10. We immediately indicate the size of the cake so that the cakes turn out the same when baking. And the edges will go to the crumbs for sprinkling the cake.
  11. The size of the cakes I got was 19 by 28 centimeters. If suddenly you have a smaller cake size, then you will have to bake not five cakes, but more - six or even seven.
  12. We bake the cakes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 5 minutes.
  13. While the cakes are baking, we prepare the ingredients for making the cream and decor.
  14. We prepare the cream: beat the condensed milk, sour cream and cottage cheese with a blender until smooth.
  15. Separately, beat the soft butter with a mixer and add it to the curd mass.
  16. Beat the cream with a mixer until smooth.
  17. Preparing a decoration for the cake: melt the chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave.
  18. Pour the chocolate in a thin layer on a silicone mat or foil, let it harden in the refrigerator.
  19. We collect the cake, smearing each cake with cream. Spreading the next cake on top, lightly press.
  20. We coat the top of the cake and the sides with cream.
  21. Grind the scraps from the cakes into crumbs with a rolling pin.
  22. Sprinkle crumbs along the edge of the top of the cake and from its sides.
  23. Break the frozen chocolate into random pieces. Decorate the middle of the cake with chocolate. Let the cake stand at room temperature for 2 hours.
  24. Enjoy delicious cake!
