This recipe was given to me by my grandmother Nina Mitrofanovna. It is very simple, nothing special, but the cake is always sooooo delicious!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Beat eggs with sugar, gradually adding flour. You should get a white mass thinner than sour cream, but thicker than pancakes.
  2. Wash apples, cut out the core and cut into large ones.
  3. Take the shape deeper, because the mass will rise, grease the bottom and walls with butter (I take a heat-resistant glass dish, nothing burns with butter), pour apples on the bottom, you can sprinkle them with cinnamon and vanilla sugar, then pour out the mass.
  4. We put in an oven preheated to 180 C, somewhere in the middle, and bake for 40 minutes. Check the readiness with a match. This will result in a soft center and crisp. Sprinkle the finished charlotte with powdered sugar and serve with tea.
