Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare ingredients for making cakes.
  2. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  3. Break eggs into a deep bowl and add sugar. Beat with a mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Add milk and vegetable oil, as well as cocoa, to the bowl with eggs. Stir until smooth.
  5. Sift wheat flour, mix with baking powder. Knead the dough, gradually adding flour to the bowl with the chocolate mass.
  6. The dough should turn out thick and not drain from a spoon, but fall in lumps.
  7. Line the form with parchment paper and transfer the dough into it. Put the mold in a hot oven for 45-50 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile, prepare the cream. First, put all the ingredients on the table.
  9. Put the halva in a deep bowl and chop (crumble with your hands). Add cocoa powder and sour cream to the halva.
  10. Stir. The cream will be thick and slightly non-uniform.
  11. When the chocolate cake is ready, place it on a wire rack to cool.
  12. Using a special tool or a regular knife, cut the cake into three parts lengthwise.
  13. Jam (I have apricot) dilute with warm water. Soak the cakes with jam.
  14. Then follow the usual scheme "cake-cream-cake-cream".
  15. Grease the sides of the cake with the rest of the cream. Leave 1 tbsp. a spoonful of cream
  16. To decorate in the form of fir cones, mix the cake trimmings with a spoonful of cream.
  17. From the resulting chocolate mass, manually blind two oval blanks with pointed ends.
  18. Put the blanks on the cake and stick the nuts-flakes, imitating the scales of spruce cones.
  19. As spruce branches, you can use sprigs of fresh rosemary, thyme or a real Christmas tree.
  20. Chocolate cake with halva cream is ready! Surprise your guests with an unusual taste and beautiful appearance of your dessert.
  21. Enjoy your meal!
