Juicy chocolate cake with a layer of jam - a simple and delicious dessert for home tea drinking!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine soft butter with sugar.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer or in a kitchen machine until creamy. Add egg and beat again.
  3. Pour in milk at room temperature.
  4. Whisk the mixture back until smooth.
  5. Mix flour with cocoa powder and baking powder.
  6. Sift the dry ingredients into the bowl with the butter mixture, add a pinch of salt.
  7. Knead a smooth chocolate dough.
  8. Transfer the dough to a baking dish lined with baking parchment. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. I have a mold with a diameter of 17 cm.
  9. Bake the chocolate cake for about 40 minutes. Remove the finished biscuit from the mold and cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. Cut the cooled chocolate biscuit into three cakes and grease two of them with jam.
  11. Assemble the cake layers. Sprinkle the finished chocolate cake with jam with powdered sugar or pour over chocolate icing.
  12. Chocolate cake with jam can be served at the table. Very tasty with milk.
  13. Enjoy your meal!
