Only 4 ingredients, only 15 minutes for cooking, and the next day you have an airy, rich and delicious dessert on the table. You can use the chocolate you like best: black with a high content of cocoa to get an intense taste with a characteristic bitterness, milk to enjoy a gentle light taste, this mousse will be especially popular with children or white chocolate. Or even a mixture of all three. You can add caramel, spices, candied orange (tastes great with dark chocolate), a couple of mint leaves, and create your own recipe. If you are not a fan of too sweet - take chocolate with the maximum content of cocoa and salted butter. Do not be afraid to experiment, you will not be able to spoil the recipe for chocolate mousse, you will only improve it!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Break or cut the chocolate into pieces and melt it in a steam bath or microwave.
  2. Separate the yolks from the proteins, the proteins can be placed in the refrigerator, and the yolks beaten with sugar to a glossy, silky mass.
  3. Add the egg yolks to the chocolate, mix the mass very well and allow it to cool completely.
  4. Add a pinch of salt to the proteins and beat until peak.
  5. Very gently and carefully introduce the proteins into the chocolate mass. Stir until the mass is homogeneous, but very smooth, from top to bottom so that the proteins do not settle.
  6. Spread in ice cube trays and refrigerate overnight.
