If you want to serve a delicious cake to your guests, but there is no opportunity or time to bake it, you can make a cookie cake with prunes, walnuts and sour cream. It is prepared simply and quickly, because it is a cake without baking. Prunes with nuts in the company of sour cream make its taste simply amazing.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Wash prunes thoroughly. If the prunes are hard, soak them in hot water for 5-10 minutes, then rinse and pat dry on a paper towel.
  2. Mix thick sour cream with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and beat until fluffy.
  3. Boil milk and cool. Dip each cookie one by one in the milk for a few seconds
  4. Place a bottomless cake tin (mine measures 11x20cm) on a serving platter. Lay the cookies soaked in milk in a single layer as the first layer.
  5. Cover the cookies with some of the sour cream.
  6. Chop the walnuts (I had already chopped). Sprinkle some of the nuts over the cream layer.
  7. Finely chop the prunes. Spread some of the prunes over the nuts.
  8. Lubricate the nuts and prunes with cream.
  9. Lay the next layer of cookies soaked in milk, apply cream. Lay out the nuts and prunes. Lubricate everything with cream.
  10. Arrange all the ingredients in this order. The last layer should be cream. Straighten it out. Cover the cake with cling film and refrigerate for 4 hours to soak.
  11. Remove the cake from the refrigerator, run a knife along the sides of the mold and carefully remove it. Decorate the cake as you wish. I used nuts, cranberries and mint sprigs.
  12. Cut the biscuit cake into pieces and serve.
  13. Enjoy your meal!
