Cookie cake with sour cream and condensed milk cream

You can make a tender and tasty cake from cookies with a sweet cream of sour cream and condensed milk, complemented by a slight sourness of lemon juice. The cake is not dry, well soaked and very fragrant. No baking, everything is prepared easily and simply from the minimum amount of products!

  1. We prepare the necessary products. Sour cream will need thick. If the sour cream is thin, it can be put in a colander with gauze folded several times and left for 2-3 hours. During this time, excess liquid will drain and the sour cream will become thick. But then it’s worth taking a little more sour cream, so that in the end (after weighing) you get 400 g.
  2. Squeeze 20 ml of juice from a lemon. Set aside the remaining lemon to remove the zest.
  3. Combine sour cream with condensed milk.
  4. Mix with a whisk until smooth.
  5. Then add lemon juice.
  6. Mix everything again with a whisk.
  7. We cover the form in which we will collect the cake with cling film so that it hangs slightly over the sides. This is done to make the cake easier to get. The size of my form is 11x20 cm.
  8. Put some cream on the bottom of the mold.
  9. Put a layer of shortbread cookies on it. If the whole cookie does not fit, then cut it with a knife. When laying out cookies, try not to touch the sides of the mold so that the cake turns out with beautiful white sides.
  10. Spread a layer of cream on top of the cookies.
  11. Next, lay out a layer of cookies. So we collect the whole cake. I got 5 layers of cookies. I left one cookie for decoration.
  12. Top everything with cream.
  13. We cover the form with cling film and set it to soak in the refrigerator for 4 hours, and preferably for the whole night.
  14. The cake is frozen. Remove the top film. Invert the cake onto a plate.
  15. Carefully remove the cling film from the cake. Smooth the sides of the cake with a knife.
  16. Crush the remaining cookies with your hands. Decorate the top of the cake with crumbs. Remove the zest from the lemon and decorate the cake.
  17. Cookie cake with sour cream and condensed milk cream is ready. Cut into pieces and serve.
