  1. Wash the potatoes well and boil the potatoes in their skins in salted water until tender (over low heat, 20-25 minutes).
  2. Turn on and preheat the oven.
  3. Place the boiled potatoes in a baking dish. Gently crush the potatoes with a pusher or other plane.
  4. Brush potatoes with vegetable oil. Season lightly, sprinkle generously with dried garlic and black pepper.
  5. Bake the crushed potatoes in the oven on the upper level at 230 degrees for 10-15 minutes, until crisp and golden brown.
  6. Remove potatoes from oven, turn over to the other side. Grease with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, sprinkle with garlic. Bake for another 10-12 minutes.
  7. Then sprinkle the baked potatoes with grated cheese (I have Parmesan) and bake the potatoes in the oven for another 3 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
  8. Sprinkle the finished baked potatoes with finely chopped herbs.
