Potato chips can be made successfully at home. Their advantage over purchased chips is obvious - no additives other than spices.

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes.
  2. Grate potatoes with a curly edge.
  3. Rinse thoroughly in cold water.
  4. Dry the potato slices - remove all moisture.
  5. Heat refined vegetable oil well in a saucepan.
  6. Dip the chips in small portions in heated oil. Fry until golden brown. Stir occasionally.
  7. Remove the potatoes from the oil with a slotted spoon.
  8. Salt. Season. Homemade potato chips are ready.
  9. Homemade potato chips can be served. Bon Appetit!
