A gorgeous cake for any occasion. I recommend my honey-chocolate cake with nuts.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put sugar, margarine, honey, milk, egg and soda into a bowl. Mix everything and melt over low heat, cook until the color changes. Turn on the oven.
  2. Remove the mass from heat, add flour and cocoa and knead the dough.
  3. Divide the dough into pieces. Roll out the crust, adding flour as needed. Cut out with a lid so that there are identical pancakes 4–5 mm thick.
  4. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees on a floured baking sheet very quickly, a couple of minutes on the middle shelf.
  5. Sweep excess flour with a dry brush.
  6. While the cakes are cooling, make the cream. To do this, beat the egg with sugar in a saucepan, add flour and little by little, while stirring, pour in the milk.
  7. Put the saucepan on a small fire and cook the custard, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Cool down.
  8. Beat the softened butter and add to the cream by a spoonful, without ceasing to beat.
  9. Crush the walnuts with a rolling pin.
  10. Crush one cake with a rolling pin into crumbs.
  11. Smear the cakes with custard, sprinkle with nuts. Leave at room temperature for 1-2 hours to soak the cakes.
  12. Cake can be served. Enjoy your meal!
