Recipe for lean cake with cherries. This chocolate cake is easy to prepare, from the available ingredients, and most importantly - without the addition of eggs, milk and butter. The cake turns out to be very tasty - it combines chocolate cakes and cherry cream well. The cake is covered with lean chocolate icing. I advise you to cook!

  1. To prepare the cakes, combine all the ingredients of the dough at once.
  2. Mix chocolate dough. According to the consistency, it turns out to be of medium density.
  3. Cover the bottom of a 20 cm form with parchment paper and grease the form with oil.
  4. We spread the dough in a form, level it. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
  5. Readiness is checked with a wooden stick.
  6. To prepare the cream, pour cherry juice or compote into a saucepan. Add sugar to taste if necessary. (I use canned cherry juice. It's sweet, so I don't add any extra sugar.)
  7. Add semolina. Mix and put on the stove. With constant stirring, bring to a boil and boil the cherry cream from semolina for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  8. Transfer the cherry cream to another container and cool.
  9. Beat the cold semolina cream with a mixer for 2-3 minutes until fluffy.
  10. To prepare chocolate icing, mix sugar, cocoa, butter and water. Place in the microwave for 20 seconds and stir.
  11. Cut the cooled cake into 2 cakes.
  12. We collect the cake. Put the first cake on a plate and grease with cherry cream.
  13. I also add canned cherries.
  14. We cover with the second cake and cover the chocolate cake with cherries with the prepared icing.
  15. Sprinkle the top of the cake with chopped walnuts.
  16. Lenten chocolate cake with cherries is ready.
