Fried potato pies with meat are a great addition to first courses or tea, perfect for an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. For the filling, I chop the onion.
  2. Rubbing carrots.
  3. I send the onions to the pan with oil.
  4. After a minute, add the carrots and sauté the vegetables until soft.
  5. I put the minced meat and fry everything together, kneading the lumps well, for another 10 minutes.
  6. Season with salt at the end.
  7. I add ground pepper, stir, heat for another minute and remove from the stove. I set aside the filling to cool a little, but for now I will prepare the potato dough.
  8. Previously, I boiled potatoes in their skins, cooled and peeled.
  9. I rub boiled potatoes on a coarse grater.
  10. I add the egg.
  11. Salt.
  12. I’ll pepper it.
  13. I add the pre-sifted flour.
  14. I knead the potato dough first with a spatula and then with my hands.
  15. I spread the dough on a floured table, roll it in flour and divide it into parts for convenience. I roll each piece into a "sausage" and cut into small pieces. I knead each piece into a cake. I spread the filling.
  16. I shape pies by pinching the edges.
  17. Turn the pies seam down.
  18. Lightly crush the pies before frying.
  19. Pour vegetable oil into the pan, heat it well. I spread the pies with the seam down and fry until browned on both sides.
  20. Potato dough pies with minced meat are ready.
  21. Bon Appetit!
