Potato and minced chicken cutlets

Ruddy cutlets-pancakes from grated raw potatoes, minced chicken and fried onions are very simple, short enough and very tasty and satisfying. It is worth taking note of the recipe!

  1. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil. Put the onion and, stirring occasionally, fry for about 3-5 minutes, until transparent.
  3. Peel the potatoes, wash, finely grate and transfer to a deep bowl.
  4. Add minced chicken, fried onions, flour, ground pepper and salt. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  5. With wet hands, take a small amount of the resulting mass, roll it into a ball and slightly flatten it, forming a flat patty-pancake.
  6. Form the rest of the cutlets in exactly the same way.
  7. Heat the remaining vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Put the patties in hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  8. If desired, the fried patties can be briefly placed on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  9. Delicious potato and minced chicken cutlets are ready. Serve them to the table, adding sour cream or any other sauce if desired.
