I offer a wonderful option for lunch or dinner for the whole family. The casserole turns out to be juicy, tender and aromatic. Imagine how delicious it is: the fish is baked in a creamy sauce under a potato "cap" with an appetizing cheese crust on top. Try to cook - you will not regret it.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Defrost the fish fillet in advance, rinse. If necessary, remove the remnants of the bones.
  2. Frozen peas can be replaced with fresh ones in season.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  4. Put the fish fillets in a baking dish and pour 400 ml of milk. Cover with foil and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  5. While the fish is baking, prepare mashed potatoes.
  6. Peel the potatoes, chop them coarsely and fill them with water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Add salt to taste. Boil over low heat until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  7. After the baking time has elapsed, remove the form from the oven. We take the fish out of the milk, divide it into small pieces and put it on a plate. Pour the milk from the mold into a separate bowl (you will need it later).
  8. Drain the broth from the potatoes. Mash the potatoes in mashed potatoes, adding 50 g of butter and 50 ml of milk.
  9. In a frying pan, melt the remaining butter (50 g). Add flour and fry for 1-2 minutes, until golden brown. Pour the deferred milk (400 ml) into the pan and cook the sauce, stirring for 1-2 minutes, until thickened. Turn off the fire.
  10. Put fish pieces in the prepared sauce.
  11. We wash the parsley greens, dry and chop finely (we leave a few branches for decoration).
  12. Add green peas, chopped parsley, salt and ground pepper to taste to the pan. Squeeze the juice of a quarter of a lemon there.
  13. Mix all the ingredients and place in a baking dish.
  14. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the entire surface of the fish layer.
  15. Rub the cheese on a fine grater, put it on top of the mashed potatoes.
  16. We send it to a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  17. Potato casserole with fish and green peas is ready.
  18. Cut into portions, carefully put on plates, decorate with fresh herbs. Serve the casserole warm.
  19. Bon Appetit!
