A very tasty and elegant salad that will please your family both on weekdays and at the festive table will delight guests.

  1. Boil the beef in salted water for 1 hour in advance.
  2. We also boil the beets and potatoes until tender (they should be soft when pierced with a knife). The cooking time depends on the size and variety of beets and potatoes. Potatoes will be ready in 20-25 minutes, beets in about 50-60 minutes.
  3. Prepare boiled vegetables, meat and other ingredients.
  4. We disassemble the beef into fibers or cut into small pieces, transfer to a plate.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Cut the onions into half rings or quarter rings and fry in a preheated pan until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
  6. Combine beef with fried onions, salt to taste. We mix.
  7. Grind the walnuts in a coffee grinder or blender.
  8. Pass the garlic through a press. Peel the boiled beets and rub them on a coarse grater, transfer them to a suitable container. Add nuts and garlic, salt to taste and mix.
  9. Peel the boiled potatoes and cut into medium cubes.
  10. Assemble the salad using a molding ring. Put the potatoes in the first layer. Salt a little.
  11. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  12. Next, lay out a layer of beef with onions and cover with mayonnaise.
  13. Put the next layer of beets with nuts and garlic. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  14. Carefully remove the ring and decorate the salad as you wish.
