Russian chowder with beef

  1. Peel the beef fillet of bones, cut into medium-sized pieces of an oblong shape, boil the broth from the bones.
  2. Pour the resulting broth into a pot, throw in the raw meat, put in the oven, preheated to 150-200 degrees, for 30 minutes.
  3. Cut the peeled and washed potatoes into cubes.
  4. Peel the onion, chop into half rings, fry in well-heated butter until browned.
  5. Remove the pot from the oven, add the potatoes, put on the stove over low heat and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Then add the fried onions, bay leaves, chopped herbs and cook until tender for a few minutes.
  7. Russian beef chowder is served with black bread.
