  1. Boil the peeled potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. We take out the potatoes from the broth and cool.
  2. Boil the carrots until tender, for about 25 minutes. We take out the carrots from the broth and cool.
  3. Boil two hard-boiled eggs (8-10 minutes after boiling water). Cool the eggs in cold water.
  4. Cooking pancake dough. To do this, beat 1 egg with a whisk.
  5. Pour water into a deep bowl. Add the beaten egg, sugar and a pinch of salt.
  6. Sift flour. Add flour to liquid ingredients and mix with a whisk.
  7. The consistency of the dough should be about the same as heavy cream.
  8. Add vegetable oil and mix.
  9. Preheat the pan, grease with oil. I have a frying pan with a diameter of 16 cm. Pour a portion of dough (one ladle) into a hot frying pan and distribute it in an even layer. Reduce heat and fry the pancake until golden brown on one side. You can cover the pan with a lid.
  10. Turn over and fry the pancake on the other side until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  11. From this amount of dough, 5 thick pancakes are obtained.

  13. Peel the carrots, rub on a coarse grater, add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of mayonnaise and mix.

  15. Putting together a snack cake. Put one pancake on a flat plate. Spread half the potato mass on a pancake and distribute it evenly over the entire surface.
