  2. Beat warm butter, egg, plain, and vanilla sugar with a mixer or a special kitchen whisk.
  3. Combine the flour with the resulting mass, and add warm milk and warm water. When kneading the dough, you can add a little more flour. Knead it for 7-10 minutes.
  4. The dough should be soft, smooth, and fluffy. Grease the vessel in which it is with butter, cover it with cling film or a towel, and leave it in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
  5. Roll out the dough, knead again and divide into 2 parts. Wrap in cling film again and leave for 10 minutes.
  6. Once the dough has become larger and looser, roll it out to a thickness of 1.5 centimeters.
  7. Using a special form or an ordinary glass, make rings of the same size.
  8. Pour olive oil into a saucepan and heat well. Alternately dip the donuts in hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes on both sides.
  9. Remove the finished donuts from the oil and place them on a plate covered with paper towels. This will help drain the oil faster.
  10. Start warm donuts with cherry jam with the help of a pastry bag. Can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or lightly drizzled with melted chocolate.
