Spiral baked potatoes on a skewer is a dish that will appeal to adults and delight children. Serve these baked potatoes with various sauces and delight your guests with an unusual dish!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products. Choose an elongated potato.
  2. We also need wooden skewers, which are recommended to be soaked in cold water for about half an hour before using them in the oven.
  3. Wash the potatoes well and dry them. (If the skin of the potato is not quite thin, peel the potato.)
  4. Using a skewer, pierce the potatoes along the center.
  5. Cut the potatoes to a skewer from one end of the tuber with a knife. Then we scroll the potato and cut it, forming a spiral, holding the knife slightly at an angle and making sure that the width of the spiral turns is the same.
  6. We cut the potatoes in a spiral to the other end. Then gently stretch the potato spiral slightly over the skewer.
  7. Put the potatoes on skewers in a baking dish. Lubricate the outside and inside of the potatoes with olive oil.
  8. Now we will make the potatoes flavorful. (You can use your favorite spices or those I suggest.) Sprinkle the dried garlic over the potatoes.
  9. Then sprinkle with sweet ground paprika.
  10. (You can use hot peppers if you like.)
  11. We mix salt, ground black pepper and Provencal herbs. Sprinkle the potatoes with the resulting mixture.
  12. We send the potatoes in a spiral into an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes. During cooking, periodically turn the skewers with potatoes so that they brown evenly.
  13. A fragrant potato in a spiral on skewers is ready! Serving baked potatoes with your favorite sauces
  14. Bon Appetit!
