If you want to please and surprise your near and dear ones, prepare this peach yogurt jelly cake for them. It is made simply, but looks like a dessert from an expensive restaurant.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, work on the gelatin for the yogurt layer. Pour gelatin with peach syrup and leave for 10 minutes. (It may take longer, depending on the type of gelatin.) The gelatin should swell.
  2. Cut the peaches into pieces.
  3. Pour the syrup from canned peaches into a wide bowl and, lowering the savoiardi biscuits with the flat side half into the syrup, place them on the bottom of the mold (the diameter of my mold is 26 cm).
  4. Whip the chilled cream to soft peaks. Continuing to beat, add the powdered sugar and beat into stiff peaks.
  5. Dissolve the swollen gelatin in a water bath until dissolved in syrup.
  6. Combine yogurt and gelatin, mix until smooth.
  7. Add whipped cream to yogurt mixture and mix gently.
  8. Add chopped peaches and stir.
  9. Place the creamy yogurt mixture on top of the cookies and smooth the top.
  10. Put the dessert in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. The layer should become dense and not leave a mark on the surface when touched.
  11. After the yogurt layer has solidified, proceed to the preparation of the top layer of jelly. Pour the peach syrup over the gelatin and let sit for 10 minutes. Then dissolve the swollen gelatin in a water bath.
  12. Pour the jelly layer into the dessert mold and refrigerate for another 1 hour.
  13. You can leave the peach yogurt jelly cake as is or decorate as you wish. In this case, the dessert is sprinkled with crushed cookies, slightly pressed into the jelly.
  14. Yogurt cake with peaches is ready. It can be cut and served.
  15. Enjoy your meal!
