Lynchburg lemonade: an American recipe

In fact, it's not lemonade, in the classic sense, it's an alcoholic cocktail. It was called lemonade because of the lemon juice in the recipe and the bright citrus note that is present in the liqueur.

Alcoholic lemonades, as well as alcoholic ice cream - are a great option for a summer party.

Ingredients

• 40 ml of whiskey;
• 40 ml of orange liqueur Triple Sec;
• 160 ml of soda;
• 100 g of granulated sugar;
• 100 ml of water;
• 300 g of lemon juice;
• 1/2 chicken egg white.

Directions

1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar with water and boil until syrupy. Cool.
2. Add lemon juice and lightly beaten protein with a fork. Strain the sour syrup 3-4 times through a very fine sieve or through a gauze folded in four.
3. Fill the glass with ice on ⅔. Pour whiskey and liqueur. Add equal parts of sour syrup and soda.
