If you’re a fan of healthy breakfasts, add apple rings fried in an omelet to your must-have list besides granola, oatmeal, or avocado toast. Tender-baked flesh of an apple, crunchy crust and tempting cinnamon flavor is a great way to start your day and get a boost of energy to take on everything you’ve planned.

These treats can be served with tea, coffee, or cocoa. Apple rings are quick and easy to make, and you only need familiar and affordable ingredients. So take notes and get ready for a yummy morning meal!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Take two deep bowls and separate egg whites from yolks. Whisk the whites with sugar until frothy.
  2. Add flour, milk, and cinnamon to the yolks. Mix the ingredients well, and pour in the whites.
  3. Wash and peel the apples, and cut out the cores. Slice into 0.5-1 cm thick rings.
  4. Heat a frying pan, melt butter, and add oil. Dip the apple slices into the egg mixture, and spread them on a frying pan. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
  5. Arrange on a plate, and decorate with powdered sugar and mint leaves.
  6. Enjoy!
