Beef stroganoff with pickled cucumbers and capers

Delicate pieces of beef with a spicy caper flavor.

  1. Cut the meat into thin slices across the fibers, and the slices into strips.
  2. Cut the onion into thin half rings, cucumbers into strips.
  3. Slice the mushrooms thinly.
  4. Heat the oil and fry the onion in it.
  5. Add meat gradually and stir fry on all sides.
  6. Add the next portion of meat only after the previous one is well done.
  7. Put onions, cucumbers, mushrooms and capers, add sugar, salt and black pepper, mix well, add water, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  8. Before serving the dish, season it with sour cream.
  9. Rice is great as a side dish.
