I love baking chicken in the oven. Wanted something new. Marinate chicken in yogurt, garlic, ginger and spices. You can take your favorite yogurt, even sweet. This is how you can marinate chicken skewers.

  1. Wash the chicken legs, dry, cut into 2-3 parts.
  2. Put the chicken pieces into a bowl.
  3. Make a marinade. To do this, peel the garlic and ginger root. Grind. Add garlic, ginger, salt, pepper, spices and vegetable oil to yogurt. Beat until smooth (useful in a blender).
  4. Thoroughly brush the chicken pieces with the yoghurt marinade. Cover with a lid or cling film, put the chicken in yogurt in the refrigerator for 2-8 hours.
  5. Turn on the oven, heat up to 190°C. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Place chicken in yogurt on a baking sheet.
  6. Put a baking sheet with marinated chicken in the oven on the middle shelf.
  7. Roast the chicken in the oven until tender (about 50 minutes). You can check the readiness with a fork or a toothpick - the flowing juice should be transparent.
  8. Baked chicken in yogurt marinade is ready. Serve with vegetables or your favorite side dish.
