Chicken skewers with potatoes (in the oven)

Chicken skewers with potatoes and bell peppers are an easy dish that can be made festive. In addition, we cook immediately both the barbecue and the side dish for it. The dish according to this recipe turns out to be quite dietary, tasty and looks beautiful on the table.

  1. Chicken fillet cut into equal cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, chicken spice mix and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil.
  3. Put the chopped chicken fillet in the marinade and leave it there for 30 minutes.
  4. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees to preheat.
  5. In the meantime, let's take care of the potatoes. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. You can use a curly knife for this.
  6. Peel the onion and roughly chop.
  7. In a baking dish, mix potatoes, chopped onions, salt, pepper, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil and mix everything.
  8. We send the form with potatoes to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes to bake.
  9. Cut the bell pepper lengthwise and remove the stem with seeds. Cut the flesh of the bell pepper into squares. They should be about the same size as the chicken pieces.
  10. We string chicken fillet and bell pepper pieces alternately on kebab sticks. We take out the form with the potatoes, mix the potatoes gently and place the chicken skewers over the potatoes, as shown in the photo. We send the form back into the oven for 10 minutes. Then turn the skewers over to the other side and bake for another 10 minutes.
  11. Chicken skewers with potatoes are ready! Serve with herbs, fresh bell pepper and lemon. Enjoy your meal!
