Chicken stewed with onions and carrots

Delicious and tender chicken with a carrot flavor

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the onion into rings or half rings.
  2. Wash the chicken, cut into portions, dry each piece and put in a saucepan.
  3. Add onion, mayonnaise, salt to the chicken and leave to marinate for 2 hours.
  4. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  5. Saute carrots in vegetable oil in a roaster.
  6. Add chicken to the carrots along with the onions (with which it was pickled) and cover with water.
  7. Simmer until chicken is tender for 1 hour.
  8. When serving, sprinkle with chopped herbs.
