  1. Rinse the chicken legs with cool water and make cuts on the chicken so that the spices better penetrate the meat fibers.
  2. Season the chicken with salt.
  3. Freshly ground pepper.
  4. And ground red pepper or paprika.
  5. You can rub the chicken with your favorite chicken seasoning.
  6. Sprinkle the chicken legs with oil and rub the seasonings and oil well into the chicken.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan, you can add a piece of butter for taste and aroma.
  8. We spread the chicken legs, and fry on both sides until an appetizing golden crust.
  9. We temporarily transfer the fried chicken to a plate.
  10. Put onions cut into half rings in a pan and fry the onions until soft
  11. Add sour cream.
  12. And pour in water.
  13. Season our gravy to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper
  14. And we return our chicken to the pan.
  15. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the chicken for 30-40 minutes over low heat.
  16. I like to stew the chicken for a little longer, usually for 40 or even 50 minutes, then the chicken turns out to be the most tender, directly breaks down into fibers and just melts in your mouth!
  17. Our chicken in tender onion-sour cream sauce is ready! Just imagine its divine delicate taste and texture!
