The chicken turns out to be just awesome. Prepare on my own

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Chop the chicken legs into pieces. Heat 50 g of vegetable oil and 50 g of butter in a deep frying pan or cauldron.
  2. Put the legs into a cauldron and lightly fry, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In the meantime, while our chicken is roasting, let's get busy with vegetables. Cut onions and carrots into half rings, potatoes into large slices, chop cabbage.
  4. Put a layer of carrots on top of the chicken, then a layer of onions, then a layer of potatoes, salt and sprinkle with your favorite herbs.
  5. Next is a layer of fresh cabbage, and on top is a layer of sauerkraut. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Do not open the lid or stir !!! Then open the lid, add a couple of lavrushkas and turn off the stove. Cover the pan or cauldron with a lid and let stand for another 20-30 minutes. Stir before serving!
  6. P.S. I took the shins and didn't cut them into pieces.
