You do not need ready-made teriyaki to prepare this dish. You just mix it yourself, and at the same time, you will learn how this popular dressing is prepared at home. Take into account the salinity of the original soy sauce - if yours is unsalted then season to taste.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Rinse the meat, blot with a disposable napkin, cut into slices, 1.5 centimeters thick and beat slightly. Then cut into medium to large strips. Cover the meat, set aside.
  2. Combine soy sauce, sugar, sherry, minced garlic, cornstarch, hot pepper, and sesame oil together in a small bowl.
  3. Put the broccoli disassembled on the inflorescences in a saucepan or frying pan, pour in a little water - to a level of 1.5-2 centimeters, cover with a transparent lid and leave to steam on medium temperature for about 15 minutes. Watch out - as soon as the inflorescences turn bright green, open and check the vegetable for softness. Steam for a few more minutes if necessary. If you chose frozen broccoli, then simply defrost it in the microwave and fold it through a sieve to remove excess water.
  4. Use a high-sided skillet or wok. Heat the vegetable oil, fry the elk for 4-5 minutes, then put the meat in a separate bowl.
  5. Stir the soy sauce again, pour into a hot skillet, scrape the bottom of the meat with a wooden spatula and bring the sauce to a boil, stirring occasionally. Cook until lightly thick, about two minutes.
  6. Now add the meat to the hot sauce, steam for another 1 minute, then add the broccoli and turn off the stove. Stir occasionally until the meat sauce cools.
  7. Rice is recommended for serving this dish with oriental notes. But, you can get by with fresh crispy bread - dip it in the sauce and add a light vegetable salad to the moose fry.
