Game with porcini mushrooms and aromatic herbs is the perfect combination. Make sure of this by preparing moose steaks in an unpretentious way!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Take out the butter to soften. Rinse and dry pre-defrosted steaks with disposable towels. Salt and pepper, leave at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Set the skillet to preheat over medium heat. Make the sauce - Combine half of the herb and oil in a small bowl. Apply the mixture to the meat on one side. Place in skillet, add remaining oil and minced garlic, cover, cook for 30 minutes.
  3. Open the steaks, pour over the melted butter, leave for another 30 minutes under the lid. Now add the chopped mushrooms and let cook for 10-15 minutes. Check the mushrooms - if ready, remove the steaks, rest for 7-8 minutes, chop and serve.
  4. Meat prepared in this way is best washed down with red wine, but beer of your favorite variety is also suitable.
