For the preparation of the pie, a rather dry filling is prepared, and we want to offer an unconventional option - light, unusual and very tasty.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Rinse the meat, cut into 2x2 centimeters cubes, season with salt and pepper. Peel vegetables, rinse mushrooms. Coarsely chop the carrots, chop the bacon into strips, chop the mushrooms, onions and parsley.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat, sauté the meat for about 5 minutes, stirring. Then remove the meat in a separate bowl, fry the bacon in the same frying pan until the fat is partially melted, this will take 2-3 minutes. Add the onions, carrots and mushrooms to the bacon and continue to fry everything together for about 5 minutes.
  3. In the next step, add bay leaves and parsley, return the meat to the pan and add 50 grams of flour - about 2 level tablespoons. Mix everything well, pour in the wine and continue cooking, not allowing the food to bake to the bottom. Once the mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the volume of liquid is reduced by a quarter, which will take about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Add the beef broth to the meat and vegetables, cover and cook over low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Transfer the food to the oven and prepare the dough. Roll out the layer to a thickness of 0.5 centimeters. Cover the baking dish with the dough as a lid, pinch the edges and trim off any excess dough. If you wish, you can decorate the top of the pie with dough figurines. Beat the egg, brush over the dough, make a small cross-shaped cut in the center of the cake so that steam can escape.
  6. Place the pie in an oven heated to 180 ° C and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the dough turns golden brown.
  7. Serve such an unusual pie in hot portions with slices of cut crust.
