  1. 1. We take the carcasses. They are sold frozen, so the first step is to defrost them properly. First, put the frozen product in the refrigerator for 6 hours (at a temperature of 5 degrees). After that, we are already shifting to defrosting at room temperature. This way it will be possible to preserve the maximum of nutrients in the product.
  2. 2. We start cleaning the carcasses. First you need to remove the thick pink skin. After that, you need to remove another thin transparent skin, and then remove all the insides. I advise you to use hot water - then the skin will be removed very easily, like a stocking. Please note that the skin is also present in the inside of the squid carcass.
  3. 3. Now we start cooking the product. Boil water first. Salt it. As soon as the water boils, you need to dip one squid into it. It takes only 15 seconds to cook the product. Note that if you digest the ingredient, it will become rubbery, like a boot. And to make it soft again, you will have to cook it for an additional 2 hours.
  4. 4. We take out the fillet, drain the water from it. We are waiting for it to cool down. Using a knife, cut the carcasses into rings.
  5. 5. I advise you to pour the seafood with lemon juice. If you are going to squeeze juice directly from the lemon, I advise you to wash it in hot water first, as this will release more juice from the lemon. Or you can buy a ready-made one.
