Delicious, healthy, and most importantly - warming. All this is about Kalmyk tea, which I decided to make today. This is a drink with a thousand-year history, but we love it to this day.

It perfectly saturates the body, normalizes metabolism, strengthens the immune system, treats indigestion, relieves colds and severe coughs, restores vigor. You can talk about the benefits of this tea for a long time, but it is better to immerse yourself in the art of making it yourself and try this drink!

Traditionally, it is boiled in milk, adding salt, pepper and lamb fat. But I prefer his "sweet" version, let him also get the right to exist!

  1. We take tiled Kalmyk tea. I used a quarter of this piece.
  2. Grind the tiles. We put the tea in a small saucepan (preferably enameled, without chips, the main thing is not metal).
  3. Pour boiling water and cold milk over the tea.
  4. We put on low heat and add salt.
  5. When the milk starts to boil, remove the froth. This should be done with a wooden spoon. Cook the tea over low heat for another 10 - 15 minutes, stirring it. Then turn off the heat, cover the pan with a lid and leave to steam for 10 minutes
  6. Pour tea into bowls (traditionally Kalmyks drink it this way, but we can afford a little liberties :)) Add sugar to taste, cinnamon, vanillin and a grain of cardamom. I prefer sweeter tea :)
