I keep experimenting with kvass. I really liked this kvass from hibiscus!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Prepare ingredients for kvass. Boil 2.5 liters of water and cool until warm.
  2. 2. Pour 0.5 liters of boiling water over hibiscus to make a strong brew. Leave for 10 minutes. Then mix the tea leaves, passed through a strainer, and boiled water.
  3. 3. In a jar, mix sugar, lemon juice, and yeast. Add 10-15 pieces of raisins.
  4. 4. Pour in the water from the hibiscus. Mix well. Cover with cheesecloth and put in a warm place.
  5. 5. After a few hours, the fermentation process will begin. Leave to wander for a day. Then pour into convenient bottles and refrigerate. I advise you to let it stand in the refrigerator for 1-2 days and ripen the kvass a little, so it will become tastier.
