What dish does any housewife dream of? Probably about one, the ingredients of which could be put into a saucepan, closed with a lid, and then wave a magic wand and, having opened the lid, enjoy a ready-made delicious lunch ... But this is possible!
Of course, we don't have a magic wand, so we'll have to be patient and wait an hour and a half, but this stew is really prepared "by itself" and always turns out to be very tasty and juicy!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the meat into small pieces and roll in flour. Finely chop the onion. Peel the potatoes and also cut them into small pieces. Put meat, potatoes, onions in a wide saucepan or frying pan. Pour in water and tomato paste. If you are using a tomato, put it in boiling water for a few seconds, peel it, cut it into small cubes and add to the rest of the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste, put bay leaf.
  2. Cover the saucepan with a lid and put on very low heat.
  3. Simmer for about 1 hour. 30 minutes, stirring from time to time (check the potatoes when they are ready, if not yet ready, you can simmer for a longer time). Add frozen peas 15 minutes before cooking, and if you use canned peas, add them to a ready-made dish.
