Very tender and tasty beef stew with onions, carrots and bell peppers.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash the meat thoroughly, pat dry with paper towels and chop. The size of the pieces depends on what you are going to do with the meat next: if stewing, then cut into small pieces; if you cook - in larger pieces; if baked in the oven, then cut into medium layers; for barbecue it is better to take steaks.
  2. We send the meat to the pan.
  3. We cut the onion into thin half rings for stewing (for barbecue - thick rings, for cooking - just cut the onion in half and add to the marinade, and remove it before cooking).
  4. Add the onion to the meat.
  5. We also send carrots cut into semicircles there.
  6. Cut half of the pepper into cubes and add to the meat.
  7. Salt and crush with your hands so that the onion starts the juice. Add bay leaf, pepper mixture and coriander.
  8. Pour vegetables and meat with beer, cover with a lid and leave the beef to marinate in beer for a day in the refrigerator.
  9. We put the pan on the fire and send two types of oil (butter and olive) to the pan.
  10. We take the beef out of the marinade and fry the meat in a pan on both sides until golden brown
  11. Reduce the heat to medium and add the vegetables from the marinade (no beer). Sauté vegetables and meat for a few minutes over moderate heat. At this point, you can add the second half of the sweet pepper (or more carrots, other vegetables or mushrooms). If necessary, salt.
  12. Pour marinade on beer - a little, a few tablespoons (you can add more marinade to get meat in gravy).
  13. Cover and simmer the beef in beer, with vegetables, until tender (about 25-30 minutes).
  14. Meat with vegetables stewed in beer is ready.
  15. Enjoy your meal!
