I prepared a refreshing and invigorating drink using oranges and ginger. The number of ingredients is approximate, you can vary the composition according to your taste preferences.

  1. 1. Wash the oranges, dry them, and cut off the zest from them with a sharp knife.
  2. 2. Squeeze juice from oranges (with pulp), and refrigerate to cool.
  3. 3. A piece of ginger about 3-4 cm long, peeled and grated on a fine grater.
  4. 4. In a small saucepan or ladle, put orange zest, grated ginger, and refined sugar (I have brown).
  5. 5. Boil filtered water.
  6. 6. Pour the products into a ladle with 0.5 liters of boiling water. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Cool the rest of the water to room temperature and refrigerate for several hours.
  7. 7. At the end of cooking, allow the broth to cool. Then strain through a fine sieve.
  8. 8. In a large container, combine all the components of the drink: chilled water, chilled orange juice and a decoction of zest and ginger. A delicious and healthy drink is ready.
