National Kyrgyz dish, brought many years ago from Issyk-Kul. Favorite dish of my men.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Knead elastic dough, similar to dumplings.
  2. Filling:
  3. All cut into small cubes.
  4. Meat (preferably beef, preferably with internal fat), cut or grind in a meat grinder, 2-3 onions, 2 carrots, 3 potatoes, 2 bell peppers of different colors.
  5. Salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Divide the dough into 6-7 parts.
  7. Roll out as thin as possible, spread the filling evenly. We turn into a roll. Cut into pieces 6-7cm long.
  8. We spread (with a cut down, so that after cooking it looks like roses) either on a pre-oiled double boiler, or on a mantover, slightly press down with your hand. Steam for 45-50 minutes.
  9. Remove into a large dish, pouring melted paprika butter over each layer.
  10. Serve with ketchup, sour cream, mayonnaise ....
