Today I want to offer you one of the options for making apple strudel! The classic baked goods are always filled with apples, chopped nuts and cinnamon, and frozen puff pastry will save you time.

  1. Cut the apples into cubes.
  2. Melt 30 g of butter in a frying pan, put apples, add sugar and cinnamon. Stir and simmer over medium heat until the liquid evaporates completely.
  3. Add chopped walnuts to the apples. Mix.
  4. Roll out puff pastry (I have yeast dough, but you can also use yeast-free dough) into a thin layer, about 2 mm thick.
  5. Put the filling on the dough and distribute evenly.
  6. Roll up, pinch the edges.
  7. Transfer the roll to a baking sheet, brush with a beaten egg.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven to 190 degrees for 40-45 minutes, until a beautiful golden crust appears.
  9. Sprinkle the finished strudel with icing sugar. And you can serve it with tea.
