Rice with broccoli in a creamy cheese sauce

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Divide the broccoli into small florets and boil in boiling water or in a double boiler until soft. Rinse under cold water and chop finely.
  2. Pour rice into a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook for 20 minutes until the rice is soft. Reheat the béchamel.
  3. Add both grated cheeses to the sauce and mix well to dissolve. Add broccoli and stir.
  4. Pour the sauce over the rice and stir well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
