Pu-erh tea brewed with ginger does not have as strong a diuretic effect as green tea, so you can drink it almost every day, especially during the period when you decide to go on a diet, because ginger tea for weight loss is an excellent addition to diet meals.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Separate 2 tablespoons from the tea pancake (or briquette - depending on what kind of pu-erh you have). tea leaves. They break off from the total compressed mass in layers; in especially compressed pancakes, pieces must be chipped off with a thin kitchen knife or a special knife for pu-erh, which for the most part is still decorative rather than functional. In this case, my pu-erh breaks completely with my hands.
  2. Bring clean, filtered or bottled water to a boil. Place the tea in a teapot and pour about 150 ml of boiling water. Drain the first infusion immediately - in this way we do not brew, but only rinse the tea.Now you need to add the sliced ginger to the kettle and pour the full volume of boiling water.Brew pu-erh for at least 7 minutes, I usually brew for 10-12 minutes, because I love strongly brewed, and sometimes pu-erh is even boiled, which increases its invigorating effect.Pour the brewed tea into cups, if necessary, add honey to taste, and drink it hot.
