Ingredients

Directions

  1. This dish must be prepared in a ceramic pot with a volume of 1.5-2 liters. Unfortunately, I don't have such a pot, so I got by with the usual 0.5 liter portioned pots.
  2. Wash the meat, dry it, cut into pieces the size of a walnut.
  3. Chop the onion (preferably in small cubes).
  4. Put meat in pots, onion on top, pour in vegetable oil and water.
  5. Heat the oven to 180 degrees, put the pots on the wire rack (covered with a lid) on a medium level and leave for 2 hours. Thirty minutes later, after the start of cooking, take out the pots and mix the contents.
  6. Prepare the sour cream filling.
  7. Mix sour cream, salt, flour and mustard. After two hours add the sour cream mixture to the pots, stir and cook at the same temperature for another 45 minutes.
  8. I assure you, you will not have to chew such meat, it will simply melt in your mouth.
  9. I agree that it takes a long time to cook this dish.
  10. But...
  11. Firstly, you don't have to constantly stand over the pots, you put them in the oven and go about your business (well, you just have to stir twice).
  12. Secondly, believe me, the result is worth it.
