A drink of health, youth and longevity! Ginger turmeric tea has an astringent and slightly bitter taste. The drink has a fresh, slightly citrus aroma with woody and nutty nuances.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. The curcumin found in turmeric is poorly absorbed by the body, so it needs to be heated briefly for maximum benefit.Peel the ginger root and grate with a medium grater. Instead of a grater, it can be chopped very finely with a knife. In order for the spices to retain all their useful properties, they must be brewed correctly. Pour the required amount of turmeric into a teapot or French press and add chopped ginger.
  2. Bring the required amount of water to a boil separately and pour boiling water over the spices. Cover and let the tea brew for 4-5 minutes.
  3. After the indicated time, the tea will be infused and ready to drink. Pour the tea into mugs, having previously filtered.
  4. Add a little honey to taste and mix well. For better absorption of curcumin, you can add a little black pepper, or one teaspoon of coconut oil to the finished drink. For a change, lemon, mint or other spices can be added to this tea.
  5. This ginger tea is unique in its composition and is a very effective antiviral agent, which is important in the autumn-winter period. The recommended dose of this tea for an adult is one cup a day.
