Cake "Chocolate on boiling water" - a recipe for a cake with an unusual "wet" biscuit.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cover the form with paper or grease with oil. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Prepare two bowls - a large one and a smaller one.
  2. In a smaller bowl, combine the first five ingredients (all dry ingredients).
  3. In a larger bowl, lightly beat the eggs. Add vegetable oil and vanilla.
  4. Then, while mixing the dough, alternately add flour and milk to the eggs, starting and ending with flour.
  5. At the very end, pour in a glass of boiling water and mix again quickly. The dough will be liquid.
  6. Pour the dough into the prepared pan and bake the biscuit in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes (toward the end, check the readiness with a toothpick - it should be dry or with a few wet crumbs; but do not overdry the biscuit).
  7. The biscuit will double in size. I used a 26 cm mold, but a slightly smaller mold will do.
  8. Cream for cake "Chocolate on boiling water".
  9. Mix all the ingredients for the cream in a saucepan with a thick bottom and boil over low heat, stirring constantly with a spoon, no more than 5 minutes, otherwise the cream will be too thick. Make sure the yolk doesn't curl.
  10. Cut the cooled biscuit into 2 cakes and grease the bottom cake with thick coconut cream.
  11. Reduce all glaze ingredients until thickened. Decorate the Boiled Chocolate Cake with chocolate icing.
