We bring to your attention the recipe for the Dobosh cake. This is an amazing Hungarian cake made from six delicate biscuit cakes, chocolate cream and caramel icing. A delicious cake is definitely worth preparing - for a family dinner and for a grand celebration.

  1. We prepare the ingredients for biscuit cakes.
  2. And products for chocolate cream.
  3. For caramel icing you will need sugar, butter and water.
  4. Separate the whites from the yolks.
  5. Add half of the sugar for the cakes and vanilla sugar to the yolks in a container.
  6. Beat the mass with a mixer for about two minutes.
  7. Add softened butter and flour.
  8. Beat the mass thoroughly with a mixer.
  9. Beat the egg whites with a mixer for 10 minutes with a pinch of salt and the remaining sugar for the cakes in a stable foam. Gently fold egg whites into batter.
  10. Knead the mass until smooth.
  11. Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  12. We bake 6 identical cakes at a temperature of 200 degrees for 10-13 minutes.
  13. Cooking cream. Melt the butter for 30 seconds in the microwave. Add powdered sugar.
  14. Mix the butter with powdered sugar well, add two eggs. Mix with a mixer.
  15. Melt the chocolate in a water bath and add it to the cream. Add cocoa to this. Mix with a mixer. We put the cream in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  16. After 1 hour, we take out the cream and spread the cake with cream.
  17. So we smear 5 cakes, putting them on top of each other. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  18. Ready for frosting. Add sugar and water to the saucepan. Melt sugar over low heat, add butter. Bring glaze to a boil. The frosting should be a light yellow color.
  19. We spread the remaining cake on a wooden board and quickly, until the glaze has frozen, pour it onto the cake. With the same quick movements, cut the cake with icing into 8 parts.
  20. Let the glaze on the cake cool and harden, and then spread all the parts on the cake. Cake "Dobosh" decorate to your liking.
  21. Leave the cake aside to soak for several hours.
  22. After a while, cut the Hungarian Dobos cake into portions.
  23. Enjoy your meal!
