Cake "Napoleon" from pita bread - very tasty and tender. If you don’t know what the cakes are made of, you can easily confuse this Napoleon mini-cake with its classic version. I highly recommend making it.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. To prepare custard in a thick-walled saucepan or cauldron, grind the egg with sugar until smooth.
  2. Add flour and potato starch, mix with a whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour in milk, mix well.
  4. Put the cauldron on the stove, on a small fire. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring. Cook the cream until thickened for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly with a whisk so that lumps do not form.
  5. Cool the finished custard a little, add butter to it and beat with a whisk until a homogeneous smooth mass.
  6. Cut out circles of small diameter from pita bread.
  7. Dry the cakes for Napoleon from pita bread in a dry frying pan on both sides.
  8. It is also necessary to dry the trimmings of pita bread.
  9. I got 10 circles-cakes with a diameter of 12 cm.
  10. Put the form on a plate and lay out the pita cakes in it, lubricating each with custard.
  11. Press down a little if necessary.
  12. Lubricate the top cake well with cream.
  13. Then sprinkle with crumbs from dried pita bread scraps.
  14. Remove the cake "Napoleon" from pita bread with custard in the refrigerator for soaking (overnight).
  15. Delicious cake "Napoleon" from pita bread with custard is ready.
  16. Enjoy your meal!
