This chocolate cake with cherries and whipped cream is easy to prepare, but always popular.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Beat the eggs thoroughly with salt and sugar for more than 6 minutes until foamy. You can do this with a mixer or food processor.
  2. The mass will increase by three to four times.
  3. Mix dry ingredients - flour and cocoa. Sift the dry ingredients through a sieve into the bowl of eggs, gently mixing in with a silicone spatula to keep the dough airy. Pour the dough into a detachable baking dish, greased with butter, and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the biscuit for about 30 minutes until done.
  4. Prepare all ingredients for soaking and stuffing.
  5. Place the cherries in a saucepan with a thick bottom, add sugar and boil over low heat.
  6. Dissolve the starch in water, pour into the cherry and simmer over low heat for 5-7 minutes until thickened. Cool, mix with cherry tincture (or liqueur). Separate the cherries from the juice - the cherry juice will serve as a dipping agent for the cake.
  7. Cut the cooled cake lengthwise into two or three parts (depending on how tall you want the cake). Soak the layers of the Black Forest cherry tart with the cherry filling.
  8. Thick impregnation will partially impregnate the cakes, partially give them a beautiful color.
  9. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until doubled in volume and thickened with a mixer or in a food processor.
  10. Spread a portion of the whipped cream on the bottom cake, smooth it over the surface and lay a layer of cherries.
  11. Cover with second layer. Coat the entire surface of the Black Forest cake with cream.
  12. Decorate chocolate cake with cherries with whipped cream, grated chocolate and cocktail cherries. Cake "Black Forest" is ready.
  13. Before serving, be sure to let the Schwarzwald biscuit cake brew and cool in the refrigerator.
  14. Enjoy your meal!
